Paintings

I am an artist, writer, and scientist who loves showing my art to people from different cultural backgrounds. My inspiration for my paintings and books has come while traveling around the world to become familiar with diverse cultures and people. My style of painting is geometric expressionism which falls within the abstract/portraiture category. My major media is mixed media but more of gouache with colored pencils and colored markers. I was also a member of the Burlingame Art Society and later became a member/member at large of the Sanchez Art Center and the Art Guild of Pacifica where I used to organize their art library and welcome artists in the San Francisco Bay area.
Speaking of the reward I received, back in 2019, I exhibited my art at the Burlingame Park and Recreation Center and at the Hillsdale Mall where I received an Honorable Mention for one of my paintings ” Subzero”. In addition, I wrote a couple of books in the style of short stories illustrated with my paintings. Also, I did some voluntary work at the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History and the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History.
